Some Important Energy Tax Credit Information:
Tax credit applies to qualified energy efficient windows and doors.
- Must be used for remodeling/replacement
(New construction does not qualify for tax credit)
- Primary residence of the taxpayer must be in the United States.
- Tax credit os 30% of the product cost up to a maximum of $1,500.
- Installation and Labor cost do not qualify for the tax credit.
- Not all doors and windows apply. Eligible windows and doors must have a U-Factor equal to or less than 0.30 and; a Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC)
equal to or less than 0.30
- Proof of purchase along with product performance also required.
